Logos allow an important opportunity to design an iconic symbol for your brand. Some consist of basic typography elements displaying the name of the company or it’s initials in traditional, fancy, or even custom font typefaces. Others feature a graphic symbol or icon, like an animal, a food, a natural object, or a pattern. Other’s use both typography & iconography and find a way to marry them successfully. If done well, both the typeface and the icon could potentially be recognizable all by itself in an independent setting. Even selected colors play an important role in setting the mood. Lots of ideas get scribbled, thrown around, tossed away until something starts to shine. It’s really incredible to witness an idea go from bizarre thought, to napkin sketch, into final rendered vector.
Applications for a company’s logo design are seemingly endless. Some of the basics include use on their website, their business card, their letterheads and invoices, their packaging, their social media profiles, watermarks on paper stock and photographic images, printed collateral and advertisements, stickers, decals, pens, mugs, clothing, framed art, sculptures, tattoos, et cetera. We’ve helped clients print, engrave, stitch, and etch their logos on some pretty cool custom projects and are always excited to see where our ideas will lead our collaborators next. We have resources and relationships with several manufacturers to accommodate all budgets, including those without one.
