Web Banner for the Philly Broker

Project: Web Banner Design
Client: Shelly Gans, Real Estate Business Broker, www.ThePhillyBroker.com
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ / Greater Philadelphia Area
Tools: Photoshop, Photography
Backstory: Shelly Gans, the Philadelphia Business Broker, is a long-time friend of my family’s in addition to being the father of one of my piers. I long wondered what this man did for a living, and one day I received a telephone call from him debating whether or not to re-advertise his business in the Yellow Pages, or to finally weave himself into the world wide web with an internet presence. DoggHouse Productions was happy to hook him up with a logo, web site, and web banner which advertises local private classified listings for commercial real estate properties and occasional licenses located in the greater Philadelphia area.
The Web banner design features a photograph of the Philadelphia skyline. In the midst of the skyline, I’ve embedded the Philly Broker logo, mentioned a few posts ago. Downtown is where all the big businesses are housed, and we are dealing with a major city, which happens to have a recognizable skyline. I took this photo on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, you know, the one with the set of stairs that Rocky runs up. I think it turned out pretty well, especially with the American Flag situated in the shot.

Web banner design daydreamed and executed with excellence by DoggHouse Productions in collaboration with Shelly Gans, the Philly Business Broker in association with ShellyGans.com and thePhillyBroker.com.
