Backstory: Shelly Gans, the Philadelphia Business Broker, is a long-time friend of my family’s in addition to being the father of one of my piers. I long wondered what this man did for a living, and one day I received a telephone call from him debating whether or not to re-advertise his business in the Yellow Pages, or to finally weave himself into the world wide web with an internet presence. DoggHouse Productions was happy to hook him up with a logo, web site, and web banner which advertises local private classified listings for commercial real estate properties and occasional licenses located in the greater Philadelphia area.
The Web site design is extremely sleek, simple, and serves the purpose of establishing a contact hub for Rube Gans
Associates – a Philadelphia area commercial real estate broker firm – that also displays private listings as they become available. We used a WordPress platform, so that Shelly could post articles and listings by himself in the future. It’s also a great platform to boost SEO/SEM ratings on major search engines such as Google, and apparently Bing. As far as I know, if you type in “Shelly Gans”, he shows up first. Eventually, we want “Philly Broker”, and others like it to catch him as well.
