Magazine Interview Layout for CPL

Backstory: Cold Pink Ladies was a personal project I headed for series in 2009. I had a fantasy one evening, that super gorgeous women should be dressed in provocative lingerie and sexy stylish high top sneakers. Women in lingerie wearing high top sneakers. That was the vision.
I assumed full responsibility for tasks that I never even considered allocating to others. I had the incredible help & insight of Justin Sornoso-Salvador along my side reassuring me of which steps were necessary and which steps were to be 86’ed. We did a lot of research into photography, lighting, magazine publication & circulation, went shopping all over Los Angeles & San Francisco for sneakers, sought out high end furniture stores which became our venues to shoot in, went shopping for lingerie in Beverly Hills, interviewed dozens of gorgeous and lovely models, organized a team with a photographer (Jessica Rogers), makeup artist (Michelle Monaco), hair stylist (Kelle Schlax), and after 3 months of grinding we produced our dream.

Once the shoot was over and done with, things fell apart quickly. The photographer literally took 2 weeks to get our raw photos back to us and in that time I lost a lot of my momentum. I eventually made a few interview layouts featuring some of the models we did not end up choosing.

This particular layout features a model named Rosy. The fork t-shirt & fork prop along with the direction of her gaze made for an interesting idea to place some chocolate cake on a fancy napkin up in the top corner.
